We’ve all been there—feeling the urge to please others, to do whatever it takes to make sure they're happy, comfortable, or even just not upset with us. At first glance, this might look like kindness, like we’re being thoughtful, considerate, and caring. But there’s a major difference between true kindness and people-pleasing: kindness doesn’t involve giving yourself up.
