As human beings, the need for validation and approval is an essential part of our existence. Despite this fact, many of us struggle with the ability to validate and approve of ourselves. As individuals who tend to be people-pleasers, we often fall short of this crucial need. We have a deep-rooted belief that there is something wrong with us, leading us to doubt ourselves and, at times, not trust ourselves to approve or validate anything. As a result, we end up seeking external validation and approval from others, creating an unhealthy dependency on their opinions of us.
