What to do when your stuck in worrying too much
How to become a more accurate fortune teller for more emotional pace
Worrying is the illusion that we can control or somehow avoid future distress.
Welcome to another newsletter of Moments of Reflection; today, I want to talk about something we all do (probably every day)- worrying.
Are you someone that worries a lot? If so, what is it you tend to worry about? Do you worry about what others think of you? Do you worry about solving a particular problem or overcoming an obstacle? Do you worry about unknown things potentially causing you or others harm? Do you worry about how you’ll feel in a particular situation? The opportunities are endless.
Today, I want to share my thoughts on worrying with you and share a particular strategy that has helped me reduce my negative worry spiraling. This strategy has helped me predict future events more accurately, making it easier to put myself into new, challenging, or uncomfortable situations to grow and become more (emotionally) resilient.
